If a vehicle or vessel has been left abandoned on council land, it will be impounded.
If you think council may have impounded your vehicle or vessel, or you would like to report an abandoned vehicle or vessel, contact us on 1300 307 800 or lodge an online customer request.
The vehicles below have been impounded by Gympie Regional Council. Refer to s100 of the Transport Operations (Road Use Management) Act 1995. If not claimed, these vehicles will be auctioned.
When: 10.00am on Wednesday 31 July 2024. Inspections welcome from 9:00am.
Where: Council’s Impound Yard, Laurenceson Road, Gympie
Please note:
Cash will not be accepted. EFTPOS facilities will be available.
Conditions:
Attendees must wear enclosed footwear and sign in prior to auction commencement. Children under 16 years are not permitted into the compound.
If not released prior, the vehicles will be sold by auction. The vehicles will be sold unregistered in their current condition. Council offers no warranties and accepts no responsibility for the condition of vehicles. Full payment must be made at the time of auction. Auctioned vehicles must be removed by their buyers on auction day.
