Conservation Management Plans

Some of the properties, places and items listed in a heritage register may need their own Conservation Management Plan (CMP).

CMPs help owners, managers and authorities make decisions about how they will conserve and manage heritage property, places and items.

Council currently has one active CMP.

Conservation Management Plan for Memorial Park

Memorial Park is listed on the State Heritage Register. The Conservation Management Plan for Memorial Park was adopted by Council on 24 October 2018.

The plan provides a long-term vision for the park. It includes a program of works to maintain the park and its traditional character. It provides guidelines for plantings, trees and gardens, built structures and memorials. It also provides guidelines around how the park can be used.
