Visiting the Gympie Regional Gallery

Gympie Regional Council is following the advice and direction of Queensland Health on all COVID-19 related matters.

From 17 December 2021, entry to the Gympie Regional Gallery and attendance at any activities held in the Gallery will be in accordance with the following Queensland Health and Council requirements:

  • People aged 16 years and above must be fully vaccinated
  • Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult
  • Youth aged 13, 14 and 15 can be unvaccinated and attend without adult supervision

People aged 16 years and over will need to provide proof of vaccination status or medical contraindication. You will be asked to show this status every time you enter the Gallery or are asked by staff.

Gympie Regional Gallery

The Gympie Regional Gallery was established in 1998 in the beautiful School of Arts Building built in 1905.

The Gallery showcases professional and emerging artists from our region, as well as touring exhibitions from around Australia.

We are a renowned public gallery, welcoming residents and visitors to join in our exciting workshops, classes and artist talks.

Don’t forget to visit the Gallery Shop for unique artisan gifts and products.

The shop features striking and diverse works by local designers and artists.

Gallery Tours and Visits

We welcome school groups, playgroups and community groups.

Exhibition tours and hands-on activities can be designed to suit your group.
