Gympie Regional Gallery

Housed in the beautiful 1905 heritage School of Arts building, the Gympie Regional Gallery has been a social hub for arts and culture in the region for over 25 years.

The Gallery is located at 39 Nash Street, Gympie. One street east of Gympie’s main street, Mary Street.

The main carpark can be found at the rear of the building.

 

Gallery Temporary Closure 27 January - 27 March 2026

Gympie Regional Gallery will temporarily close from Tuesday, 27 January until Friday, 27 March 2026 while Gympie Regional Council carries out important renewal works.

During this time, the Gallery will not be open to the public. The Gallery is scheduled to reopen on Saturday, 28 March 2026, with two new exhibitions.

Opening hours

Open Tuesday – Friday 10am - 2pm and Saturday 10am - 2pm.

Closed Public Holidays.

 

Access

The Gallery is wheelchair and pram accessible.

We have ramp access at the front of the building from Nash Street, as well as side access from the rear carpark. A designated disabled park can be found at the rear of the building in the main carpark. The Gallery’s front doors are not automatic, please use the doorbell to the right of the front door if you require assistance in entering the building.

An internal lift provides access to the upstairs gallery spaces and disability bathroom, which includes baby change table.
