Community Photocopying

Council provides a limited amount of free photocopying to not-for-profit community groups that are based in, or provide direct benefit to, the Gympie region. This service is to assist with photocopying items such as membership forms, club newsletters and flyers advertising community events.

Assistance

Eligible groups can request assistance with photocopying up to the value of $200 per year. Costs are allocated as described in the Gympie Regional Council Fees and Charges

Copy Fee
A4 black and white (per page) $0.20
A4 colour (per page) $1.00
A3 black and white (per page) $0.40
A3 colour (per page) $2.00

Council keeps a record of each group’s photocopying use. Once a group has reached its annual limit, further photocopying is available at libraries or council offices for a standard fee.

How to request photocopying

Groups can email requests for community photocopying to community@gympie.qld.gov.au with the following information: contact name and phone number, number of copies required, timeframe, type of print and document(s) attached.

Documents must be in an acceptable format (i.e. Word, PDF or JPG). Inappropriate images and/or language will not be accepted.

If a multi-page document contains some black and white and some colour pages, all pages are counted as colour as the photocopying machine charges the colour rate for all pages. Double sided pages are counted as two copies.

Requests will be completed within 5 business days. A council staff member will contact the group when printing is ready for collection.
