Gympie Regional Council offers a range of forms, permits and resources to support community clubs and organisations.

From hosting events in public parks to applying for funding and accessing safe facility use guidelines, all documents can be conveniently accessed via the links below.

Parks Booking

There is no shortage of council parks to enjoy! However, when wanting to book one of them for private use, approval from Council is required for functions and events.

One Mile Sports Complex Booking

One Mile Sports Complex is by far the largest multi-sport playing field venue in the region.

To make a One Mile Complex booking, print and fill out this form, then email or mail back to Council: One Mile Sports Complex booking form(PDF, 416KB).

Landowner's Consent

This form is required for any organisation that holds tenure over Council-owned or Council-controlled land and wishes to undertake improvement works within their licensed area.

Please be advised that a minimum processing period of 21 days is required for landowner’s consent applications, commencing once we have received the fully completed application and all supporting documentation. This allows adequate time for assessment by the Property Branch, as well as any other internal departments involved.

Annual Update

The Annual Update requirement applies only to Community Groups with a tenure agreement for Council-leased land or buildings.

Sport HQ

Queensland Government resources are there to educate sporting organisations and volunteers on the rules of their sport, their rights, what to do about inappropriate behaviour and how to run their clubs so that they attract new members.

Blue Card

The Blue Card system - Queensland's Working with Children Check (WWCC).

This system plays a vital role in creating safe spaces for children by screening and monitoring people who work or volunteer in child-related roles.
