Corporate Plan

Council’s Corporate Plan provides a roadmap for council to deliver on its endorsed vison, key priorities and the short, medium and long term goals for the region.

The Gympie Region Corporate Plan 2022-2027 plan was endorsed by Council at its Ordinary meeting on Wednesday, 25 May 2022. It was developed following consultation with the community via an online survey and a series of ‘listening posts’ that were attended by the mayor and councillors.

Operational Plan

Council develops an Operational Plan on an annual basis. The Plan outlines the key activities we are going to deliver to progress the Corporate Plan and its key strategic outcomes, each financial year.

The Operational Plan is aligned to and funded by the annual budget.

Performance

Council prepares performance reports both quarterly and annually to provide information to our community, and to meet legislative requirements, on how we are progressing against the Operational Plan and more broadly on how we are achieving our corporate goals.

Annual Report

The compilation and presentation of the Annual Report is required under Local Government Act 2009, but also provides an opportunity to highlight achievements and progress made over the previous year. The Annual Reports are presented to Council via its formal meeting process.
