Holiday Fun Gympie Region - Something for Everyone

Back

Looking for things to do these School Holidays? Gympie Regional Council’s Holiday Fun Program has you covered!

Gympie Regional Council’s new Holiday Fun Program bundles some of the exciting things happening in the Gympie region in one central place. With a variety of events and activities, as well as some great ideas to get you outside exploring – there’s something fun for all budgets and ages.

Gympie Regional Libraries are planning an excellent program of popular (and free) activities, and the Gympie Regional Gallery is hosting Autumn Holiday Program workshops and a free Discovery Bag activity to explore the new travelling exhibition, ‘Lionel’s Place’.

Council’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Robert Jennings said the Holiday Fun Program offers a variety of activities for families as well as some great ideas for exploring the region.

“Our libraries, pools, and art gallery are all great places to visit and explore these holidays,” Mr Jennings said.

“There are also some wonderful activities and events happening across the region for the whole family. From ‘Easter on Mary’ to ‘the Alphabet of Awesome Science’ and this year's first ‘Live and Local’ event – there will be some great entertainment on offer. These holidays will also be an excellent opportunity to get outside and make the most of the autumn days, exploring our beautiful natural spaces and walking tracks and trails.”
