Have Your Say on Gympie’s Economic Future

Gympie Regional Council is currently drafting a new five-year economic development strategy and residents are invited to have their say to ensure it reflects the aspirations of the community.    

The Gympie Region Economic Development Strategy 2024-2029 will serve as a comprehensive roadmap, outlining key actions and initiatives to support local businesses, attract investment, and create new opportunities for residents.   

Gympie Regional Council Chief Executive Officer Robert Jennings encourages all residents to complete the survey to ensure their voices are heard.   

“Our region’s new Economic Development Strategy will play a crucial role in guiding our economic development efforts over the next five years, and it is essential that we hear from our residents and local businesses to ensure their priorities are reflected in the final plan," said Jennings.    

The survey contains four questions and takes around 5 minutes to complete.   

The survey closes on Friday, 5 April 2024, at 5pm.
