Inaugural Gympie Bioeconomy Forum to Showcase Promising Future of Sustainable Industry

Gympie Regional Council is hosting the inaugural Gympie Bioeconomy Forum on Friday, 19 April.

The Gympie Bioeconomy Forum is a pioneering initiative dedicated to spotlighting the remarkable potential of the bioeconomy in Gympie and neighbouring regions. This industry-focused event aims to showcase the current landscape and prospects within the bioeconomy sector.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn what the bioeconomy is, understand industry best practices and bioeconomy initiatives, network and build connections with potential bioeconomy partners, and explore how Gympie and neighbouring regions can lead the way with bioenergy.

The topics covered during the forum will follow four specific themes, including Defining the Bioeconomy, Forestry, Food and Waste, and Emerging Technology.

The event will feature a distinguished lineup of industry experts, including:
