National Volunteer Week

National Volunteer Week is an annual celebration to acknowledge the generous contribution of our nation’s volunteers.

Gympie Regional Council, together with Tony Perrett MP, Member for Gympie and the Gympie Region Volunteer Centre are kicking off the celebrations with the Annual Celebration of Volunteering on 3 May 2017 at The Pavilion.

Holiday Fun

Each school holiday, Gympie Regional Council ramps up the fun with a range of exciting, safe and budget friendly activities. Community Resource Lending Library

Do you need a loan of some equipment for your next event? We can help. The Community Resource Lending Library offers a range of equipment for loan aimed to increase community participation. Items include sports equipment, event equipment, learning resources and giant games.

     
 

Building Better Communities

Gympie Regional Council has partnered with the Brisbane Broncos to deliver the Building Better Communities Program in schools across the region. 

The program involves collaboration with local police, services and topic experts to give young people the right messages at the right time. Former Broncos player, Darren Burns will coordinate the program in 2016 and 2017, with sessions targeting the needs of primary and high school students.

     
 

Community Photocopying Service

Does your community group do a lot of photocopying? Council provides a limited amount of free photocopying for not-for-profit community groups to assist them in serving their members and the wider community.
