Share your voice on the Arts and Cultural Sector
Gympie Regional Council has commissioned consultants SC Lennon & Associates to prepare a new economic development strategy for the Gympie Region. Council is working in close co-operation with key stakeholders throughout the region to progress the strategy’s development. When complete, the strategy will guide the region’s economic development priorities and focus areas over the next five years.
Consultation and engagement is a key component of the strategy development process. To this end, Mr. Sasha Lennon from the consultant team would like to engage directly with representatives of the arts, culture and creative industries sectors to help him better understand the key attributes, issues, challenges and opportunities for economic development.
A workshop-style session will be held on Tuesday 4 June at Gympie Regional Gallery where you are invited to discuss your views with the consultant. If you are available to attend the session to share your views and insights, it would be greatly appreciated.
