An evening of short films and live music is planned that is guaranteed to warm up your winter presented by Heart of Gold International Short Film Festival

The Heart of Gold International Short Film Festival are excited to once again launch their ‘Golden Evenings’ regional tour with the first of six events on Friday 7 June 2024 at the Gympie Music Hall at the Australian Institute of Country Music. An evening of short films and live music is planned that is guaranteed to warm up your winter. The evening will feature live music from folk trio ‘The Mary Rivers’ featuring multi-instrumentalists Dan Horne, a successful UK-born singer-songwriter formerly based in Gympie and now from the Sunshine Coast, and Joe-man Murphy, each bringing their mutual inspiration and complementary stage presence to the group.

Alongside female vocalist Ange, they ignite the stage with soulful, heartfelt lyrical stories infused with infectious fun and energy that linger long after the performance ends. Then get comfortable and enjoy a feature-length collection of short films from all over the world, hand-picked by the experts at Heart of Gold in what is set to be a truly epic journey of storytelling.
