Official Opening – Fleeting Memories by Emma Thorp
Join regional artist, Emma Thorp, celebrating the official opening of Fleeting Memories, a collection of 365 images created everyday during 2022.
Emma graduated from Latrobe University, Bendigo with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and works in coloured pencil, digital drawing, and animation. She has been a finalist in in the Lyn McRae Drawing Prize, Swan Hill Print and Draw, the Queensland Regional Art Awards, The Lethbridge 20,000, the Ravenswood Women’s art prize, the National Still life Award, the M16 Artspace Drawing Prize, and was the winner of the Major 2D award of the Du Rietz Art awards in 2022.
Fleeting Memories capture both the big and small moments of her life that otherwise would have been forgotten.
Held in conjunction with Lionel’s Place – Lionel Lindsay from the Maitland Regional Gallery Collection touring exhibition.
