Feral Pig Control Workshop

Back

Landholders and community members are invited to learn about feral pig management including the best techniques to monitor, evaluate and eradicate feral pigs from properties.

Burnett Mary Regional Group (BMRG) is leading a project to manage pests and weeds in the Barambah Creek area, funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments. This follows significant rainfall and flooding which increased weeds and feral pig numbers.

The project aims to support native flora and fauna species to establish into resilient habitat through the effective management of invasive weeds and pigs.
