Stand Up Comedy Course
Join Gympie comedian and event producer Anna Brennan for a weekend workshop of stand-up comedy.
Students will learn different methods of writing material, as well as performance tips. They will hone their skills into a five minute stand-up comedy set which they will be invited to perform at one of Anna’s upcoming comedy shows in the Gympie region
As part of Youth Week 2023, young people aged 15 to 25 years can sign up for just $10 ($180 non concession).
Anna is fresh from performing at Queerly Beloved, a sold out show at Melbourne International Comedy Festival. She has performed at and produced over 100 comedy shows, published a children's book called A Dragon is Coming, and written and directed an award winning one act comedic play. She's taking her solo show, Tinderella, to Melbourne International Comedy Festival for a run of ten performances this April.
