Gympie Domestic Violence Lantern Vigil 2025
Come stand in solidarity and hold your lantern high to remember the lives of those lost to domestic abuse and to raise awareness.
As part of Qld Domestic Violence Prevention Month in May each year, Community Action Inc host the Domestic Violence Vigil in Gympie – a community led event to raise awareness of the prevalence of DV in our community and to create social change.
This year the focus is on domestic abuse and disability, highlighting the disproportionate effect of abuse on persons experiencing a disability, and what we can all do to prevent this.
