Join us for a relaxing and creative Shibori & Indigo Dyeing Workshop in Gympie on Saturday, 18 May 2025, from 9:30am to 12:30pm at Chatsworth Hall, just north of Gympie.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll explore the traditional Japanese art of Shibori using folding, binding, twisting, and clamping techniques to create beautiful resist-dyed patterns.
You'll dip your chosen fabric into a plant-based indigo dye vat and watch your unique designs come to life.
Choose to dye a scarf, tea towels, or a linen bag — all materials are included, along with guidance and tips to help you create something truly special.
You’ll also learn how to create and maintain an indigo vat for future projects.
