Description

Compass is an Australian Government initiative funded by the Attorney-General's Department in response to the National Plan to Respond to the Abuse of Older Australians (Elder Abuse). Each month 50,000 older people in Australia visit Compass to learn more about how to better understand what elder abuse is, how to prevent it and how to respond to it. In addition to over 1,000 Resources and 600 listed services across Australia, we also publish a range of new articles each month on topics ranging from ageism, to coercive control, grandparent alienation, powers of attorney, isolation and the World Elder Abuse Awareness Day.
