Crafting exquisite ceramics and paintings, Susan is a visual artist whose practice is grounded in questions of identity and belonging.
'My work draws on personal history to explore the layered experiences that have shaped my sense of being Australian, and examining how memory, culture, and place intersect within my lived experience.'
Susan will be giving demonstrations on how to process wild clay.

Fibrejules | Julia Kitto | Artisan, Textiles | Saturday 18 & Sunday 19 July | 10am-4pm
Combining locally sourced natural plant fibres with traditional weaving techniques, Julia creates contemporary and decorative sculptural artworks.
Julia will be giving demonstrations of natural fibre cobbling throughout the day.
Julia offers 1-hour workshops on Creating with Self-made Cordage during the Studio Trails and has a collection of works for sale in her private studio.

Sculpture on Mary | Public Art, Visual arts | Saturday 18 & Sunday 19 July | 10am-4pm

Sculpture on Mary presents an ephemeral public artwork and an open-entry outdoor sculpture exhibition at the Sands Recreational Area along the Mary River.
The exhibition is a free and accessible cultural experience that encourages visitors to engage with contemporary art within the landscape. Artists will be on site between 10am and 4pm each day and works are for sale.

Veteran Hall Collective | Artisan Collective | Visual Arts | Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th July | 10am-4pm

For many years Veteran Hall has provided a hub for groups to regularly meet and work on their craft, as well as to share and learn from others.
This year our artisans showcase their expertise in jewellery making, coiled rope work, embroidery, journal making, pottery and a diverse selection of acrylic painting demonstrations at workstations where visitors can watch the works being created firsthand and interact directly with the artisans.
A range of exquisitely crafted Quilts will also be on show during the Studio Trails.
Enjoy a cuppa and a treat from the selection of homemade goodies on offer.
