Housed in the historic Old Gympie Post Office, located in the centre of Gympie, ART POST is a beautiful exhibition space with dark walls and a contemporary ambience. The gallery hosts professionally presented exhibitions, events and performances dedicated to showcasing emerging and experienced artists of all artistic practices. ART POST is a welcoming space to gather, share stories, inspire and enjoy a beverage from the adjacent Chai Chai Teahouse, while being by the artwork on show.

ART POST is open from 8am - 1.30pm Monday to Saturday with the Chai Chia Teahouse serving a selection of teas, coffee, cakes and chocolates.

Welcome to PesArt & Ceramics! Join Prue in her scenic Pie Creek studio, where creativity meets empowerment. Unleash your artistic side through exploring pottery and art at weekly classes or participating in a 1- or 2-hour pottery session during Studio Trails. Discover Prue's stunning clay sculptures, ceramics, and paintings, inspired by her love of colour, texture, form and function. Celebrating over 10 years in the Gympie region,

Prue has shared her passion for art and pottery with 1000s of participants during this period. 

Clay hand-building class. Beginners welcome.

Originally an old hardwood garage; Helen's studio has been lovingly rebuilt from repurposed old windows, doors and cupboards that gives the space a timeless quality.

'The studio has a lovely energy...my kids say it's all the love and hard work that went into it...and it is a joy to explore my creativity in such a beautiful space.'

A mostly self-taught artist, Helen has love of oils, using predominately palette knives and brushes and does portraiture using graphite and charcoal.

Award winning artists Dee and Gavin Hewitt create share and teach from their inspiring home studio beside the beautiful Mary River at the Palms near Gympie

Their aesthetic is simple and sustainable, celebrating a natural rustic weathered charm through a variety of mediums. Media includes timber, textiles, prinmaking, painting, sculpture, assemblage and metal. 

Enjoy a Make and Take activities, Sculpture Garden and picnic areas as well as small potted plants for sale and student art sales table
