Come and explore ancient fibre crafts and modern adaptations right here in our community. 2025 is the 50th anniversary of the Gympie Spinners, Weavers and Crafters group. Silversmith Collective

  The Silversmith Collective welcomes visitors to experience a working Studio where rings, bracelets and earrings will be created each day. A range of jewellery handcrafted right here in our studio will be available to view and purchase including; bespoke earrings, fine, petite and chunky rings as well as handcrafted bracelets and pendants worked with pearls, turquoise, opals and sapphires all set in stunning sterling silver. Visit the Silversmith Collective at the Gympie Gem Club.

Jaine Jackson Enough is Enough

Jaine is an artist who embraces personal freedom in her creative journey, specialising in portraiture capturing the essence of her subjects, believing their eyes reveal their souls and stories.

Researching historical contexts to enrich her work, using various mediums—sometimes simultaneously—fosters spontaneity.

Her goal is to "sculpt the subject," creating pieces that evoke genuine emotion and depth. Inspired by both classical and contemporary masters, she continually experiments to develop her unique style.

Jaine's studio is a vibrant space where she translates her creative experiences into artworks that resonate with viewers and collectors alike.

One of Gympie's most well-known artists, Joolie Gibbs' five-acre bush block provides much of her artistic inspiration and materials. She enjoys the slow processes of preparing natural fibres for papermaking, or processing tree barks and seeds for the botanical inks used in her large drawings.

Welcome to PesArt & Ceramics! Join Prue in her scenic Pie Creek studio, where creativity meets empowerment. Unleash your artistic side through exploring pottery and art at weekly classes or participating in a 1- or 2-hour pottery session during Studio Trails. Discover Prue's stunning clay sculptures, ceramics, and paintings, inspired by her love of colour, texture, form and function. Celebrating over 10 years in the Gympie region, Prue has shared her passion for art and pottery with1000s of participants during this period.

Clay hand-building class. Beginners welcome.

Libby Parke Studio | Printmaker and visual artist| 12 & 13 July | 10am-4pm

Libby Parke

Libby Parke is a printmaker and visual artist based in Sexton, Queensland. Introduced to printmaking as a teenager by artist Mo Skett, Libby has continued to hone her printmaking skills, drawing on nature, history and mythology for inspiration. Influenced by her Bachelor of Arts in Ancient History, Libby uses her knowledge of bygone civilisation and mythology to reveal the evolution in the relationship between human societies and nature, exploring human reverence, rejection and reunion with the natural world.
