The Mary Valley Art Festival celebrates 25 years of showcasing incredible talent, featuring over 180 artists and 280 pieces of art.

Art on Yabba Fine Art Gallery | Visual Arts | All Weekends in July | 10am-4pm

Located in Imbil in the Mary Valley, Art on Yabba Fine Art Gallery is the newest addition to the Gympie Region’s vibrant arts scene.
Recently opened by Mary Valley Artslink, the purpose-built gallery proudly joins the Gympie Region Studio Art Trail. Art on Yabba presents monthly exhibitions, each launched with a special opening night event. Visitors can purchase original artworks and explore a dedicated shop showcasing a diverse range of creative pieces.
Mary Valley Artslink is also the driving force behind several much-loved local events, including the annual Mary Valley Art Festival each July and the Mary Valley Scarecrow Festival. In addition, they are currently delivering a 12-month Artist Development Workshop series running through to 2027.

Sharon's Art Space at Mothar Mountain Hall | Visual Arts | Saturday 25 & Sunday 26 July | 10am-4pm

From vibrant portraits to flowing landscapes, Sharon's award-winning works draws you in with bold colour and quite details capturing the unspoken stories written in the land and on people's faces.
Sharon will feature paintings of the Mothar Mountain Rock Pools and the Mothar Mountain Hall during the Studio Trails.
Visitors are welcome to sit back and enjoy the ambiance of this beautiful historic community hall.
In 2025 Sharon won 1st prize in the Still Life category at the Mary Valley Arts Festival as well as 1st prize for the Watercolour category and the People's Choice at the Noosa Country Show.

Originally an old hardwood garage; Helen's studio has been lovingly rebuilt from repurposed old windows, doors and cupboards that gives the space a timeless quality.
'The studio has a lovely energy...my kids say it's all the love and hard work that went into it...and it is a joy to explore my creativity in such a beautiful space.' A mostly self-taught artist, Helen has love of oils, using predominately palette knives and brushes and does portraiture using graphite and charcoal.

The historic Dagun Station is at the heart of this vibrant artistic community. Enjoy wine tasting as you sip and shop locally crafted creations from artists and artisans from across the region.
Watch the Mary Valley Rattler Silver Bullet train roll into the station, explore the historic station precinct with a local history room, a self-guided Natural History Walk and Labyrinth.

With works on display representing a range of mediums, this enchanting and whimsical space showcases the unique talents of artist from across the Mary Valley. The vision for this Gallery is to entice the visitor into an intimate relationship with the creative detail that makes up each piece, whilst browsing through a variety works to create a memorable experience.
Wild Pixie encourages the concept of: 'Slow Looking', a practice of focused and extended observation that allows deep engagement with a single artwork or object, to enhance the appreciation of and connection to the artist and their work.

Caedmon Johnson Jewellery showcases unique, historically inspired designs and experimental techniques using silver, and mixed media such as bone, copper, slate and semi-precious stones. His inspiration comes from growing up in the medieval city of York, and the study of art and ancient British history.
Combining ancient methods with modern technology, his studio is a melting pot of classic craftsmanship, customised, handmade tools and innovative approaches to old techniques. Caedmon's designs strive to channel ancient archetypes into contemporary works of wearable art.
Caedmon will be offering brief demonstrations that explain the use of some of the equipment - there is no pre-arranged time, just as visitors wish.
