SteamFest 2025

A 3-day event at the Gympie Gold Mining Museum experiencing the history that built Gympie.

Authentic equipment operating at a genuine historic side just as it was 125 years ago. Special steam machinery demonstrations, blacksmith demonstrations, miniature train rides, historic bus rides, gold panning, Sunday markets, and hundreds of museum exhibits.

Lots for everyone in the family to see and do.

Gold Mine Cafe open daily 7am to 4pm. Museum open 9am to 4pm. Special demonstrations 10am to 2pm. Plenty of parking.
