Doing Business with Council

Local businesses looking to grow and take on new projects are invited to attend Gympie Regional Council’s Doing Business with Council event on Tuesday, 12 May 2026. 

The free event, held as part of Queensland Small Business Month, will provide practical information on how to do business with Council, including supplier registration and procurement processes. A major drawcard for all business owners will be a presentation on Council’s 10-year capital works schedule, highlighting the breadth of work available and how local operators can position themselves to capitalise on these opportunities. 

You’ll hear from Council and Local Buy, along with local businesses sharing their experiences working with us.

There will also be time for Q&A and networking opportunities.

The event will be held at Gunabul Homestead, 9 Power Road, Gympie, from 7:30am to 9:30am.  

Attendance is free, with a light breakfast provided. Registrations are essential as places are limited.
