Disaster Recovery Info Sessions - Tansey & Goomeri

Primary producers and rural businesses across the western areas of the Gympie Region, including Tansey and Goomeri, are invited to attend upcoming Disaster Recovery Info Sessions. 

These sessions are a chance to connect with local support services following recent weather events. 

Services include: 

• Rural Financial Counselling Service
• Grant information
• Support for primary producers 

Tansey Session:

• Tansey Community Hall
• 30 Tansey Hall Rd, Tansey
• Wednesday 17 June 2026
• 1pm-4pm
• Light refreshments will be available

Goomeri Session:

• Goomeri Hall
• 17 Boonara Street, Goomeri
• Wednesday 17 June 2026
• 5pm-7pm 

Stay on after the Goomeri info session for the Community Live Stream of State of Origin, plus a BBQ and bar fundraiser hosted by Goomeri State School P&C. 

Enjoy the BBQ from 6:00pm ahead of kick-off at 8:05pm, with Mayor Glen Hartwig (Gympie Region) and Mayor Bruce Simpson (Cherbourg) joining the community on the night.
