2026/27 Competitive Round 2 will open to applications on 1 February 2027 and close on 14 March 2027.

Community Facilities

Maximum grant amount: $10,000

Purpose: To support safe, inclusive and accessible community facilities.

*Facility applications may require Landowners Consent.

Community Development

Maximum grant amount: $5,000

Purpose: To support community led projects that increase the social/community wellbeing of residents in the Gympie region.

Community Events – Minor Grant

Maximum grant amount: $5,000

Purpose: To support community led events that attract local and regional participation with the aim of enhancing community identity, connection and participation within the region.

Community Events – Major Grant

Maximum grant amount: $25,000

Purpose: To support community led events and festivals that attract substantial regional participation and attract some audiences from outside the region and are of high social and/or cultural benefit.

Biosecurity Projects

Maximum grant amount: $2,500

 To support land holders to improve biosecurity outcomes in the Gympie region. Apply here 

Environment Projects

Maximum grant amount: $10,000

Purpose: To improve environmental outcomes in the Gympie region through the delivery of one-off projects and educational activities.

Maximum grant amount: $30,000

Purpose: To improve environmental outcomes in the Gympie region through the delivery of ongoing environmental programs by community organisations primarily focused on environment activities.
