2025/26 Community Grants Program Competitive Rounds
Competitive Round 1 closed on 14 September 2025. 19 applications were recommended for funding.
Competitive Round 2 is open to applications from 2 February 2026 to 15 March 2026.
The 2025-26-GRC-Community-Grants-Guidelines-Community-Events-Environment(PDF, 452KB) provide category specific eligibility and assessment criteria, purpose and priorities, and the application process. Please read the Guidelines before starting an application.
For specific information regarding applications to Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) categories, please refer to the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF).

Community Facilities
Maximum grant amount: $10,000
|
Purpose: To support safe, inclusive and accessible community facilities.

Maximum grant amount: $5,000
|
Purpose: To support community led projects that increase the social/community wellbeing of residents in the Gympie region.

Community Events – Minor Grant
Maximum grant amount: $5,000
|
Purpose: To support community led events that attract local and regional participation with the aim of enhancing community identity, connection and participation within the region.

|
Purpose: To support community led events and festivals that attract substantial regional participation and attract some audiences from outside the region and are of high social and/or cultural benefit.

Purpose: To improve environmental outcomes in the Gympie region through the delivery of one-off projects and educational activities.
