Council is carrying out night works at the Station Road and Mellor Street intersection from 6pm Thursday 30 April 2026 until 6am the next day, on Friday 1 May 2026.
As the project nears completion, it is vital that our crews are able to approach critical line marking activities safely and efficiently.
In the event of wet weather, night works will be rescheduled to the next suitable night.
Local businesses remain open according to their respective business hours during these works. Some parking in the area will be unavailable during this time.

These works are made possible by funding gained through the Australian Government's Black Spot Program, complementary funding received from the Queensland Government's Transport Infrastructure Development Scheme (TIDS) and additional funding from Gympie Regional Council.
