School Holiday Fun: Family Activity Morning!

Looking for a fantastic, budget-friendly morning out with the kids these holidays? Bring the whole family down to Gympie Community Place for a jam-packed morning of creativity, laughter, and connection.

We have designed this session specifically for primary school-aged children and their parents or carers to enjoy together. It’s all about taking a break, having a laugh, and making great memories!

Catering: A lovely morning tea is provided for both adults and children.

Explore Our Fun Stations

The room will be set up with different interactive stations so families can move around and create at their own pace:

Create-Your-Own City: Let your imagination run wild! Use recycled cardboard, tape, and markers to help build a massive community cardboard metropolis.
Card Making: Get creative with stamps, paper, and stencils to make beautiful, handmade cards for friends or family.
Hama beading: create a range of cool things using hama beads.
Colouring-In Corner: A relaxing space with a huge variety of fun colouring sheets and markers for some mindful downtime.
The Ultimate Dance-Off: To end our morning on a high note, we will clear the floor for a fun, high-energy family dance-off! Bring your best moves.

Important Information for Parents

Supervision: This is a collaborative family event. An adult must remain with their children at the centre for the entire duration of the session. It’s a wonderful opportunity to create and play alongside your kids!
Target Age: Activities are catered perfectly for primary school-aged children.
