About this event

Loneliness can affect any of us, at any age—but connection starts right here in our own backyard. For Loneliness Awareness Week, Gympie Community Place is proud to host The Morning Mash-Up, a special morning event dedicated to bringing Gympie together and bridging the generation gap!

Whether you’ve lived in Gympie for 60 years or 6 months, we are mashing up the community for a nostalgic morning of local history and classic 50s, 60s, and 70s music trivia, followed by a friendly "cuppa and chat."

This is a beautiful opportunity for different generations to sit together, share unique life stories, test their knowledge, and build meaningful new friendships over fresh coffee and cake.

No one is ever put on the spot—our trivia is done in teams at each table, making it all about laughter, memories, and easy conversation.
