Council is hosting two free wild dog trapping workshops to help residents learn practical ways to identify, monitor and manage wild dogs on their properties.

What you'll learn

The workshops will cover:

• wild dog behaviour and ecology
• identifying signs of wild dog activity
• using monitoring cameras
• choosing and using lures and attractants
• selecting, setting and placing traps
• humane euthanasia methods.

The workshops will also include a practical trapping presentation by Darren Pointon from Out N About Trapping and Outfitters.

Morning tea and a light lunch will be provided.
