Important Update: Gympie NAIDOC Family Fun Day

Due to the recent wet weather️, tomorrow’s event has been postponed.

Here are the updated details:

• New date: Friday, 5 September
• 3pm – 8pm
•  Nelson Reserve, Gympie

Join us on Gubbi Gubbi/ Kabi Kabi Country to celebrate NAIDOC 2025 with this year’s theme: “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy.” Together, we honour the ancestors and culture while empowering our youth to carry the fire forward.

Enjoy live First Nations music & dance, cultural arts and workshops, kid's activities and games, and storytelling at this all-inclusive community event. There will be plenty of stalls featuring local artists, services & community groups, speakers and community yarns, plus a range of delicious food trucks. This is a day to celebrate and share culture across generations.

Relax on the grass at Nelson Reserve, wander through the activities and stalls and enjoy the live music from the main stage. All are welcome, bring your mob, your mates and your picnic blankets.
