Temporary Road Closure – Velmec Winter Trees on Mary 2026
Gympie Regional Council wishes to advise residents, businesses and visitors that temporary road closures will be in place to facilitate the safe delivery of Velmec Winter Trees on Mary 2026.
Road Closure Details
Date: Wednesday 15 July 2026
Closure Times: 2.30pm – 10.00pm
Roads Affected:
- Mary Street between the Monkland Street traffic lights and the Five Ways Roundabout.
- Smithfield Street.
Pedestrian access to businesses will be maintained throughout the event and local businesses will remain open during the road closure period.
Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes and allow additional travel time when travelling through the Gympie CBD.
Gympie Regional Council thanks the community for its patience and cooperation while this community event is delivered.
