Gympie Regional Council advises that repairs to overhead lighting will be carried out on Smithfield Street, Gympie on Tuesday, 7 July 2026.
To enable these works to be completed safely, Smithfield Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from 6 am to 2 pm.
Pedestrian access to all businesses along Smithfield Street will be maintained via the footpaths throughout the works.
Residents and businesses in the area may experience some noise while the works are underway.
