Gympie Regional Council is replacing two shelters and BBQ facilities in Attie Sullivan Park, Southside.
The existing shelters have reached the end of its service life and are being replaced to provide a safe, comfortable space for the community to enjoy for years to come.
The new shelters will be built with flood-resilient materials, featuring a modern design with aluminium and Colourbond structures, complemented by wheelchair friendly aluminium table settings.
Attie Sullivan Park Shelter Project Timeline:
- Demolition and project commencement – Wednesday, 29 April 2026.
- Construction finish – Early July 2026 (weather permitting).
