Walking Art Workshop Day Rainbow Beach

The Australian Walking Artists are hosting a unique and immersive one day public program to accompany the exhibition Walking Art Now at the Gympie Regional Gallery.

The walkshop day will be based at Rainbow Beach and the Cooloola Coast within the Gympie Region, a spectacular area renowned for its beaches, high dunes, wilderness and wildflowers.

The day will provide opportunities to:

  • Explore walking practices in the unique locations of Cooloola
  • Experiment with arts practices in context
  • Meet other artists and community members
  • Share ideas and practice

Good to know:

  • See Draft Program here. You will need to nominate morning and afternoon session selections as part of the booking process.
  • Early bird: $105 (before July 31)
  • Full registration: $120 (from August 1)
  • Lunch is included.
  • Dinner optional at own cost at the Rainbow Beach Sports Club.
  • Participants are to organise their own transport. Carpooling encouraged.
