Friday 15 August, 6pm
Join us in celebrating 'Ink in the Lines' an Australian War Memorial touring exhibition.
Tattoos are a conversation starter. Many members and veterans of the Australian Defence Forces have tattoos, and while their reasons for getting tattooed are as varied as the people themselves, self expression and belonging play a part.
The exhibition is thought to be the first in Australia to explore the use of tattoos in the military.
Guest speaker Bob McKendry of the Australian War Memorial will share his experience as exhibiting photographer of the exhibition.
This event will coincide with the joint launch of 'A Bit Extra', a solo exhibition by Odessa Mahony-de Vries.
