The first Gympie Region Community Expo - A celebration

Back

The first Gympie Region Community Expo will be held on Saturday, 1 June from 10am – 3pm at the Pavilion Conference and Reception Centre, 77 Exhibition Road, Gympie. The Community Expo will have free entry, and showcase community clubs and groups, as well as recreation, social and cultural activities available in the Gympie region.

Residents and visitors are invited to attend and discover a growing list of exhibitors, stalls, and activities, and enjoy live demonstrations, a sausage sizzle and refreshments. The Community Expo will provide opportunity to learn more about the contributions community groups and clubs make across the region, and how you can get involved.

Mayor Glen Hartwig said the first Gympie Region Community Expo is an exciting step for the community.

"There’s some excellent work being done by these groups and some amazing people working hard behind the scenes," Mayor Glen Hartwig said.

"Bring the family and come and experience the Gympie region community spirit we all love. With a diverse range of exhibitors already signed up, this is sure to be a great day for the whole community”.

Exhibitors can still register (for free!) at: https://www.gympie.qld.gov.au/events/event/837/gympie-region-community-expo
