Strengthening the connections between your organisation and the community it works in can bring benefits like improved knowledge of community issues, more people looking to volunteer with you, community skills and knowledge enhancement, increased donations.
This workshop will explore things that your organisation can do to maintain or strengthen your connection to community individuals and groups and how those connections can be used to support community and organisational goals and objectives. You will leave the workshop with a plan that fits for your organisation.
A bit about your facilitator
Gigi Lacey, from Instinct Organisational Development, has been working in and with community organisations since the 1990s. Through her consulting business, Gigi works closely with Boards and Management Committees to strengthen their capacity to do what they do to the highest standard possible. Gigi is partnering with the Gympie Regional Council to deliver this workshop to support community organisation in the Gympie Region.
