Visiting the library under Stage 3 Restrictions

As of noon Friday 3 July, all branches of Gympie Regional Libraries are now open under Stage 3 of the Queensland Government Roadmap to easing restrictions. Stage 3 allows for more people within the library but we have to maintain the 1 person per 4 square metres rule. Please follow staff instructions upon entering the library.

Libraries are open for borrowing and returning library materials. Computers and printing facilities are available with a 30 minute maximum (please bring your own USB). The local history room is open but we recommend calling to make an appointment with the local history officer between Wednesday and Friday. Phone 5481 0859.

When visiting your libraries some things will have changed and it is vital that all instructions are followed to help keep our staff and community safe.

Do not visit the library if you have any symptoms of cold or flu
Keep 1.5m away from others
Hand sanitiser will be available for all customers
Floor Markers to assist with physical distancing
There are limits to the number of customers allowed at any one time. Please wait for staff direction before entering our libraries.
