Destination Gympie Region
Destination Gympie Region is the tourism and destination services branch of Gympie Regional Council. It is recognized by Tourism and Events Queensland as the local tourism organisation for the Gympie region.
Established at the start of 2013, Destination Gympie Region forms part of council's vision to promote the Gympie region as the ideal place to live, work and play.
It's strategic focus is to contribute to the health and vitality of the region by promoting greater levels of visitation and - as a result - generating positive direct and indirect economic social outcomes for the community.
Discover, play, taste and stay - today it's about inviting people to come and experience the Gympie region and all it has to offer. Future plans will build on this by targeting new residents and businesses, and positioning the region as the ideal place to also live and invest.
