Temporary Local Planning Instrument 1 - Southside Local Development Area
In accordance with the Planning Act 2016, on 24 January 2018, Gympie Regional Council adopted Temporary Local Planning Instrument 1 – Southside Local Development Area (TLPI), with an earlier commencement and effective date of 11 October 2017, as approved by the Minister for State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning. The TLPI will have effect until 11 October 2019 (unless repealed at an earlier date).
The purpose and general effect of the TLPI is to facilitate the protection of environmental values by regulating vegetation clearing within the Southside Local Development Area until the endorsed structure plan has been appropriately integrated into the Planning Scheme.
The TLPI is available for inspection and purchase at Council’s Planning and Development Directorate located at 29 Channon Street, Gympie during normal office hours, and is also available online here.
