Welcome to Gympie Regional Gallery
The Gympie Regional Gallery is housed in the beautiful and original School of Arts Building, built in 1905. It is a community oriented gallery, celebrating its own professional and amateur artists, whilst introducing the community to a reasonable range of high quality shows from around Australia.
We aim to promote the development of the arts as an integral part of the lives and industry of the local community bringing educational opportunities, cultural enrichment, economic and social benefits to the entire region.
Our vision is for the Gallery to be recognised by the region, as providing the community with accessible and exciting art, encouraging local artists and adding to the region's tourism potential.
The Gallery is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 10am - 4pm, and is located at 39 Nash Street, Gympie.
You can browse the current exhibitions, workshops, discussions, performances and after-school activities below, or you can download the June to December schedule [PDF 7.3MB].
Please note that the Gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday and is closed on Sunday and Monday - some events are displayed on these days in our calendar but should be ignored.
