Finders Keepers by Nora Hanasy

Bringing new life into long forgotten objects, Fraser Coast artist Nora Hanasy presents assemblage works that spark memories of simpler times.

Born in Hungary, Nora has cherished memories of exploring her grandmother's home, where she was surrounded by the musty aroma of old books, broken porcelain dolls, and captivating stained photographs. These sentimental experiences have inspired her to work with discarded objects, evoking a comforting sense of home in her creations.

Official opening and Artist Talk: Friday 5 July, 6pm. Free entry, all welcome.

Winter School Holiday Assemblage workshops for children with Nora: Friday 28 June and Friday 5 July, 10am – 12noon. Bookings essential.

Exhibition viewing during normal gallery hours, Tuesday to Friday 10am – 4pm, Saturday 10am – 2pm.
