Residents can call Council on 1300 307 800 with any enquiries relating to the disposal of disaster generated waste.

The Queensland Government can provide advice on how to clean up your property after a disaster.

Food Safety During Power Outages

Queensland Health has published a fact sheet on recommendations for food safety during or following an emergency or disaster event such as a flood, fire, storm or cyclone.

The Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) can assist homeowners and businesses by providing advice and information throughout the insurance claims process. The Claims Process – Key Steps can provide guidance with managing your claims process following a disaster.
