The Gympie Regional Gallery is housed in the beautiful and original School of Arts Building, built in 1905.

It is a community oriented gallery celebrating its own professional and amateur artists whilst introducing to the community a reasonable range of high quality shows from elsewhere in Australia.


Tuesday-Saturday 10am – 4pm

The Art Gallery promotes the development of the arts as an integral part of the lives and industry of the local community bringing educational opportunities, cultural enrichment, economic and social benefits to the entire region.

The Art Gallery is recognized by the shire, as providing the community with accessible and exciting art, encouraging local artists and adding to the Shire’s tourism potential.
