Council Staff
Council staff are permitted to work only within the limitations of adopted Council policy and procedures, and if unable to assist you with your request because of this, they will outline the policy to you.

In such cases where you remain dissatisfied with the application of a Council policy or procedure you should refer the matter to the Administrative Actions Complaints Process.

If you are dissatisfied with the conduct of a staff member in their application of a Council policy or procedure, please refer the matter to the CEO.

A complaint about the conduct of staff must be referred to the CEO and will be dealt with in accordance the Code of Conduct for Council Officers, the Local Government Act and any other appropriate legislation.

Any complaint about the conduct of or performance of the Mayor or an individual Councillor must be referred to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and will be dealt with under a separate process in accordance with the provisions of the Act.

A complaint about the conduct of the CEO is to be directed to the Mayor.
