Electoral Rolls
It is compulsory for Australian citizens who are 18 years of age and older, and British subjects who were on the Commonwealth of Australia electoral roll on 25 January, 1984 to be correctly enrolled at their current address. Electoral enrolment forms are used to change addresses on the Commonwealth Electoral Roll, which is used for Commonwealth, State and local Council elections. The enrolment forms and business reply paid envelopes are available at Post Offices and Australian Electoral Commission offices. For electoral enquiries relating to the Wide Bay Electorate, the Electoral Commission Office is located in Adelaide Street, (PO Box 281) Maryborough and can be contacted by telephoning 13 2326 or (07) 4122 3422 during office hours, 9.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
