These online databases are provided as part of the State Library of Queensland's Statewide Access Database Service which provides access to thousands of full-text articles on a wide range of topics.
If prompted to log in, select Gympie Region (where necessary) and type in your library membership number from the back of your card.

	Encyclopedia Britannica Online A reference site for students, educators, and parents, it includes editorially reviewed websites and the Encyclopedia Britannica.
	Gale Virtual Reference Library A database of encyclopedias and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research. These reference materials once were accessible only in the library, but now you can access them online from the library or remotely 24/7. Because each library creates its own eBook collection, the content you see may vary if you use the database at different libraries (your school, your public library, or your office).
	ProQuest Information from journals across a wide range of subject areas. Academic Research Library Topics include the arts, humanities, law, military, women's issues, and children's interest. General Science Plus Text Topics include astronomy, biology, earth science, genetics, medicine, and nutrition. Applied Science and Technology Plus Text Subjects covered include aeronautics, chemical engineering, computer technology, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, telecommunications, and transportation.
	Australia New Zealand Reference Centre Includes Australasian magazines, newspapers, reference books and company information.
	Newsbank Access to fulltext newspaper articles from more than 230 Queensland, Australian and international titles, with a particular focus on Australian, American and English publications.
	Health & Wellness Resource Centre Up-to-date, authoritative full-text health information from journals and reference titles.
	Encyclopedia of The Peoples of Asia and Oceania The A-Z Reference of the Asia-Pacific Region. More than 400 Entries covering the major peoples - describing the history, migration, culture, belief system, social organisation, and relationship to other peoples.
	Tumblebooks Ebooks for kids. Read or listen to storybooks online, write a book review and play games.
